Slack Bot for Developers

Summary

This project is a Slack bot integrated with Notion to automate daily tasks for developers. The bot was inspired by my internship at NordInsight, where we used Slack and Notion for our daily communication. It includes slash commands to report bugs, conduct stand-ups, and request code reviews, simplifying and streamlining developer workflows.

Key features

• Bug Reporting: Allows users to report bugs directly through Slack using the /bugreport command.
• Stand-Up Reports: Automates the process of daily stand-up updates with the /standup command in Slack.
• Code Review Requests: Simplifies the process of requesting code reviews by using the /requestreview command in Slack.
• Daily Reminders: Sends automated reminders to users for daily stand-up submissions to ensure timely updates.

Learning outcome

Through this project, I gained expertise in integrating Slack and Notion APIs, ensuring data consistency, and deploying serverless functions using Netlify. I improved workflow efficiency, refined my skills in API integration, error handling, and learned best practices for serverless deployment.
